Overview

Renovation financing designed for our nation's heroes

The VA Renovation Loan is a government-backed mortgage guaranteed by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) that allows eligible Veterans, active-duty service members, and other qualified borrowers to purchase or refinance a home while financing eligible renovations with a single loan. Unlike many renovation loan programs that require a down payment, qualified VA Renovation Loan borrowers can buy and renovate a home with no down payment and no mortgage insurance. Whether you're making accessibility improvements, repairing an older home, or updating outdated features, the VA Renovation Loan combines the home purchase and renovation costs into one convenient mortgage.
